Okay, long and pretentious title alert:
The 2008 Corcoran print portfolio show, rather clumsily entitled “You Won’t Believe Your Eyes: The 23rd Annual Printmaking Portfolio,” will be at Civilian Art Projects through March 1. In a nutshell, a group of students each works on an edition of 35 prints. Everyone involved gets one print of everyone else’s work, one set of the prints goes to the Corcoran’s permanent collection, and then they also put on this show, including all the matting, framing, planning, etc. CAP is located at 406 7th Street NW, 3rd Floor, and is open from 2-6 pm, Wednesday through Saturday.
