Okay, considering the consistency and creativity of Michel Gondry’s body of work, I feel pretty confident that he didn’t get the idea for his new film Be Kind Rewind from a sketch comedy show starring Amanda Bynes that ran on Nickelodeon a few years ago. But there are some eerie similarities in the film’s setup and “Blockblister,” a recurring sketch from The Amanda Show.
