Converse to launch Kurt Cobain tribute shoe series featuring his autograph and various other doodles and writings from his journals.  Kurt was wearing a pair of black Converse when he was found dead in 1994… The shoe series mark’s the brand’s 100th birthday and, for whatever reason, has the blessing of Courtney Love. In the past, Converse birthday celebration shoes have honoured Ian Curtis, Sid Vicious and Hunter S. Thompson. Converse is currently owned by Nike and makes clothes for Target. Gross!
