Pretty excited for this. Click for more Comic-Con ‘08 portraits from EW.
Edit: OK, I thought this was out tomorrow. Now what am I going to do this weekend?
DC showed it’s true blue and brown boring colors once again last night at the god-forsaken Red and Black, when literally no one showed up for the Black Diamond Heavies. It was a downright travesty of a show, which is never a surprise if you unfortunately have to find yourself at DC9, Red and Black or Rock N Roll Hotel.

This goes beyond my fear of change, and right to the heart of poor design. I LOATHE the new facebook layout. Why the hell would I want to see someone’s wall posts before their relationship status, education and work info? That’s the information that allows me to asses my worth in comparison to others.
Starting in October, DC Public Libraries will be forced to reduce hours due to budget cuts. The reduced hours will close ALL libraries on Fridays, move weekday opening times later and closing times earlier, and remove up to 5 neighborhood “kiosks” in the city’s most under-served areas.
However, if the library’s proposed budget is reinstated by the city the closings may not have to happen….stay tuned.

The genius scientists over at Buddyhead have graced the world with an invaluable tool. Dr. Wilhelm Von Schusterbauer has unleashed the Magnificent Pitchfork Tranlation Apparatus upon the world and now we can all get right to the point of those wordy reviews over there. Unfortunately, it won’t stop the masses from swallowing a bunch of indie bullshit.
Apparently the Buddyhead gossip page is also coming back, which is awesome because I can’t wait to call Fred Durst up and ask him what happened to his mind.

Sure, I LedOL at the promo for Dinosaur Fight Club (debuts tonight, 9/8C) during Shark Week the other night, but:
1) I was watching Shark Week at the time; does that give me the right?
2) It’s on The History Channel– legit.
3) The NY Times apparently liked it.
4) Ross would watch it.

I just tried to log into Scrabulous and got this message: “Scrabulous is disabled for US and Canadian users until further notice.”
G-O-O-D-B-Y-E?

The one girl nobody knows takes the title of her new film a little too literally at The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2 premiere in New York. At least Rory looks cute.

So, I’m not a fan of Cuil. I’ll admit that I’m not one for change, but after fifteen minutes of needless tooling around I’m still not sold on their search results layout. Besides, there’s nothing about me on Cuil when I enter my name, but every damn thing kyletm ever wrote appears with a nifty picture. Where’s the justice?
I AM a fan of the fact that not five minutes ago 4 of the most searched terms on Google involved Cuil. AWKWARD.
