NO: “Hey Guys, there’s something on the mall” by rachels

To go with yes or no was a tough call tonight, but I feel like I made the right choice. There is currently an exhibit on the Mall highlighting the nation’s ongoing struggle with foster care. I think this is an important cause to bring attention to, and the exhibit should do just that since the Mall is looking pretty creepy right now. Thousands of life-size cardboard cut outs of children are covering the grassy area surrounding the Washington Monument as part of an exhibit from National CASA titled Forgotten Children–Foster Children Take a Stand. There are an estimated 513,000 foster children nation-wide. I have no picture right now, but I’m sure someone will post one somewhere on the Internet tomorrow and I can steal it.

I only say no because it’s truly frightening to be driving down Constitution at midnight when all of a sudden you pull up at a red light and stare into thousands of life-like cardboard eyes…Goodnight.
